This blog's a bit empty.
I might as well share an idea with you.
I've always wanted to do a cartoon series; an ongoing series that has the same characters and shows personality and development overtime.
So, I've come up with a character called Ugly Bunny.
He's been stuck in a pet store for a very long time and isn't happy about it...so for fun, he passes his time by pissing off the other animals.
Oh, and he likes bacon.
I'm going to make a "pilot episode" if you wanna call it that, and throw it up on Youtube.
I'm not going to spend a lot of time on it, since I have more important senior year-related things to focus on, but I would like to see people's reactions to the concept.

Hi guys, Val here, figured our blog was pretty barren, so I'll fill you in on what I am working on this summer -- and hopefully I'll have some WIP to post here as I go!
For almost a year now I've been planning a short film (5-15 min) based on an instrumental album by one of my favorite musicians. I know how corny that sounds, but the story just came to me perfectly while listening to it. When inspiration strikes, you tend to pay attention.
Anyway, the film (and the album) is called "STILL." I've been working on a script -- yep, script, not storyboard! -- for several months, because originally the film was going to be live-action. I very recently decided that animation will give me the control that I need. There is absolutely no dialogue; the music and the visuals alone tell a compelling and emotional story.
I can't wait to share more with you...
